After speaking with Margaret yesterday, I thought about the idea of having a panic attack diary as part of the app. She mentioned that she gives diary sheets to students who suffer with seizures so they can log and track their seizures, and see what triggers them and other common patterns. She said this could be beneficial to students as it will allow them to pinpoint any triggers and see if they happen at a certain place or time.
I looked online to see different types of panic attack diaries:
They all have similar aspects: symptoms felt, situation you were in, thoughts you had. The second diary has other aspects that I feel would be beneficial like the time it started and ended, the rating of the attack and if the person was alone or not.
I think this feature would be helpful for students as it allows them to track their attacks, learn more about them and see any patterns.
